Pandemonium Screenplays, a movement to start people reading screenplays as naturally as they read novels, is seeking a Freelance Human-Centered Design Researcher, aka Active Listener, who is personable and approachable to conduct conversational street interviews as part of our Guerrilla Marketing & Design Research Team.
As a Human-Centered Design Researcher, you will gather customer insights for our Marketing & Product Development teams by engaging people in recorded conversations. The ideal candidate will have experience with human-centered design methodologies, is comfortable conducting street interviews and has experience with early-stage product development. If you do not have HCD experience, we will train you on how to guide an empathic interview.
Candidates will work one four-hour-shift a week, to start, in public places like college campuses, outside independent bookstores, malls, airports, shopping areas, crowded city streets, etc. We'll help you decide where you go.
Must have a phone or mobile device to record your conversations.
To make it on our short list, record a one-minute conversation with a stranger about what they like to read and upload it via the link below.
