The Product Manager will manage multiple areas of the digital fan experience focused on web, video, and email automation. You will lead development from conception to launch with our internal teams and partners. You will bridge technical and business worlds as you deliver solutions for fans while also incorporating input from engineering, UX/design, content, marketing, and sales. You are proactive and persistent. As part of the Pac-12 Product Management team, you will have a major impact in shaping this game-changing sports media company.
Responsibilities:
• Lead delivery of web, CMS, email automation, and video platform products.
• Own and evangelize roadmap, execution, and measurement of your products.
• Project management and quality assurance of your products.
• Manage relationships and drive implementation with external partners and our internal development team.
• Write user stories and other requirements for engineering, detailing new product features and enhancements as an advocate for fans and other product end users.
• Be an advocate for UX and Ul design throughout engineering and QA phases of development.
• Drive resolution of any problems or production issues impacting our users.
• Constantly assess competitors, emerging technology, and users to keep growing and improving.
• All other duties as assigned.
Desired Skills
& Experience:
• 4 years in a technical product management role, with a demonstrated history of owning and shipping successful products and features.
• Hands on experience with content management systems/publishing platforms, APIs, and 3rd party integrations.
• Consumer / media experience, with demonstrated success on video-heavy products.
• Agile project management experience.
• Proven track record of driving audience and engagement growth metrics.
• Experience with tools/technologies such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, JIRA, Slack, Drupal, ExactTarget.
• Degree in a technology-oriented field, or equivalent experience.
