Integrated Sponsorships and Sales Service Assistant Coordinator (Temporary)
The Integrated Sponsorships and Sales Service Assistant Coordinator will report to the Integrated Sponsorships and Sales Service Director. This is a temporary position that will run from December 2017 through June 2018.
Responsibilities
• Develop relationships with stakeholders from different Pac-12 departments (Marketing, Programming, Research, Partner Services)
• Prepare sales presentations and one-sheets in PowerPoint and SlideRocket with timely delivery to the Sales team
• Ability to attend internal meetings, gather information and deliver meeting notes to the Sales team
• Create sponsor recap presentations after tentpole Pac-12 events
• Ability to utilize networking tools (e.g. LinkedIn) to target decision-makers of potential partners
• Track competitive media and sponsorship activity
Requirements
• 1-2 Years of Marketing, Sponsorship or Sales experience, preferably in the Sports industry
• Bachelor's Degree required; emphasis in marketing, communication or advertising preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Apps
• Excellent verbal, analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills; good judgment and ability to interact with different levels of management and teams
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Interest in sports media and eagerness to grow within the industry
• Experience working in a culturally diverse organization and supporting the values held by our unique employees, clients, sponsors, university faculty, and fans
