We are on the hunt for a passionate, self starter and tenacious Head of PR & Talent Relations to join our world class team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about shaping tomorrow's culture, resourceful and forward thinking.
Responsibilities:
-Identify, engage and execute PR strategy with wish-list media outlets including New York Times, WSJ, Fast Company, Wired, Ad Age, WWD, Hollywood Reporter, etc..
-Think creatively, master solid communication skills and attention to detail to create programs, develop content, deliver compelling and clear strategies.
-Must be an excellent writer, work effectively across a wide range of teams.
-Create talent strategy to best execute and maximize our mission and vision
-Research all perspective targets and manage salesforce database organizing all individuals
-Support PTTOW! team and all member activities
PERFORMANCE
Performance will be evaluated based on identifying, executing and confirming our wish list PR targets. Additionally, for the talent responsibilities, performance will be measured on engagement and executing our talent strategy goals. Performance will also be judged, but not limited to ability to function as a team member, overall productivity, command of issues, and rapport with PTTOW! Members.
QUALIFICATIONS
The individual must be organized, possess exceptional communicative skills, and able to work as a team while being able to think and work independently. The individual is expected to be comfortable working in a dynamic and fast changing environment and able to adapt and excel when faced with new challenges. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree (B.A) or equivalent, preferably in Business, Communications, Political Science, and/or Arts
5+ years of experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
-Media Outreach- build deep relationships with the media and engage with press, bloggers, influencers, and as a PTTOW! & WORLDZ spokesperson.
-Knowledge and passion for the youth industry, media, marketing and culture
-Self-motivated and ability to work independently
-Candidates with existing relationships are preferred
-Great interpersonal and phone skills
- Professional dress, speech and manner
