PRStudio USA is looking for a hard worker who is confident, a self starter and eager to continue to work in publicity. We represent A list actors and do both traditional and awards campaigns for their work in top feature films, television and Broadway shows.
Our ideal candidate has worked internships in personal or film publicity in Los Angeles OR New York, been exposed to/or personally worked on campaigns for actor in film, television, or theater. Our ideal person has a strong internal editor, is a great writer, has more than a basic understanding of the work ethic and hours required for a position in this field.(you get overtime) There are always a lot of moving parts so if you like diversity in a job and get bored easily, this could be a great career/position for you.
Our candidate already knows: Cision, how to use IMDBPRO, Who Represents, Celebrity Datebook and Celebrity Intelligence; keeps great notes, works well with Microsoft Office 365 and knows Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint; has written bios for clients, strong overall creative writing skills; understands servicing memos, and can help with itineraries and setting up photo shoots and interviews. You already read the trades, knows how to set up appointments and track media both via google and other methods.
Our person is deliberate but thinks before he/she acts, can see all sides of a problem to help solve it, picks up things quickly, is willing to learn and adapt to new ways of working and thinking and wants to work with actors in helping them achieve their goals via the right visibility in the media.
