Ticket Office Representative

Description:
The Oakland Athletics are currently seeking Part-Time, Ticket Office Representatives to support our Ticket Operations, Membership Services and Premium Services departments. This position will report directly to the Ticket Services Manager. As a member of the Ticket Operations team, the Ticket Office Representative will have the responsibility of providing outstanding customer service to all Oakland A's patrons.
Responsibilities:
• Provide superior face-to-face customer service to Oakland A's ticket holders at the Ticket Services Office, A's Box Offices, Luxury Suites and throughout the stadium on game day.
• Learn, and maintain proficiency on the ProVenue ticketing system. Required duties include selling tickets and parking passes, redeeming vouchers, processing ticket exchanges and seat relocations as well as troubleshooting all ticket orders, as needed.
• Answer incoming phone calls as needed on both game day and non-game day in a professional and polite manner with the ability to answer all ticket and fan related questions.
• Properly greet and welcome guests and provide assistance and operations-based solutions when necessary
• Act as a liaison to ensure execution of all game day services with Athletics, Coliseum, and Spectra personnel
• Develop proficiency with, and be able to explain all digital ticketing initiatives, including My A's Tickets and the MLB.com Ballpark App.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of the Oakland A's organization and ticketing policies to provide outstanding customer service to all patrons.
• Assist Season Ticket Members with benefit redemption and overall Membership retention strategies – ticket exchanges, parking passes, merchandise and concessions discounts as well as special experiences and event invitations.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of the Coliseum seating configuration, pricing structure, amenities, and fan policies to service all patron needs.
• Gain knowledge and understanding of the Oakland A's organization to best assist A's patrons and A's company employees
• Represent the organization in a professional manner, consistent with company philosophies and culture.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
/Requirements:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; previous customer service experience is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• Candidates must be enthusiastic with a strong work ethic and desire to work in sports
• Demonstrated computer proficiency, previous ticketing experience is a plus
• Previous experience with cash handling and verifying bank at beginning and end of shift
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays
