Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist will be tasked providing general accounting/book keeping support to the Metropolitan Hospitality department, as well as in-depth CRM responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• General ledger account analysis of Metropolitan Hospitality accounts
• Assist in the annual audit and tax compliance process by providing supporting documentation
• Creating and sending all invoices to Metropolitan Hospitality clients
• Collecting all payments for new and renewal clients of the department
• Work closely with Sales/Execution/Logistics to bill clients accordingly
• Help develop organized payment collection
• Managing internal relationships with employees at all levels
• Auditing of commissions
• Providing Updates and Reports via CRM to the Director of New Business, MH daily/weekly/monthly/yearly
• Provide forecasting on a weekly basis to Senior Management
• Collect insurance for each event
• Assisting with overall budget
• Assist with annual budget planning and reforecasts
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years bookkeeping/accounting experience
• Strong Analytical, organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail
• Great Plains experience a plus
• Professional demeanor and excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be team-oriented, out-going, extremely motivated and able to work independently
• Must possess a strong working knowledge of MS Office software and CRM with an emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM preferred
• Full discretion when handling confidential materials and information
• Work events as needed
