Search for HR Coordinator jobs in Burbank-CA
The Human Resource Coordinator will provide support to the HR Director through Recruitment and Training, Onboarding and Offboarding, Record Keeping, HR Compliance, Payroll and Benefits, and Employee Relations.
Duties:
• Update, track, and maintain employee information and personnel files
• Perform employment and I-9 verifications
• Process background checks
• Process payroll for Staff biweekly and Freelance weekly
• Partner with Accounting to reconcile insurance invoices on monthly basis
• Assist with managing postings, sourcing candidates, drafting job descriptions and coordinating interviews
• Manage internal onboarding notifications, welcome emails, first day agenda coordination including new hire orientations for staff hires
• Manage internal off-boarding notifications and prepare and coordinate exit interviews
• Scheduling of internal presenters and external vendors
• Plan and execute employee events as well as coordinate wellness/social committees
• Partner with COO and depts to update company website content regularly
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of HR related experience
• Working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now
• Interest in pursuing career in Human Resources
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy, and professionalism
• Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
• Proven record of being highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
• Ability to work with limited supervision and prioritize tasks as needed
• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, resourcefulness, and ability to prioritize
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• A quick learner and comfortable working with tight deadlines and urgent requests
• Able to develop good rapport and relationships cross-functionally
• Able to interact with employees across all levels of the organization
