We understand that local expertise helps to guide our business more effectively, and we are looking for a Consumer Insight expert in the EMEA region.
We seek an individual who sees themselves in the following descriptions:
• Can flourish in our unique company culture
• Has deep understanding and experience in at least one, preferably more of the EMEA markets
• Is passionate about content and has a ton of experience of positioning studies
• Lives and breathes primary research - preferably both qual and quant, qual is a must
• Knows how to design a research project to meet the needs of the marketing question and can determine which methodology best serves the purpose
• Loves rolling their sleeves up and diving into projects
• Knows how to implement research projects - from the ground up - be it setting up focus groups or executing an online survey
• Loves to be in the room with the consumer
• Has worked on projects that build creative campaigns, has had experience of socialising research findings across different departments - PR, social, creative - and can pivot to the specific needs of each
• Understands the consumer's voice and how to turn what people say into actionable findings - in fact, has a proven track record of turning findings into thoughtful, holistic stories that get to the heart of the opportunity
• Is a self-starter, but loves working in a team and wants to avoid a silo environment
• Has self-awareness, empathy and is an active listener
Essential qualifications:
• At least 7 years of hands-on experience in a market research agency or department (ideally a mix)
• University Degree, Post Graduate qualifications preferred
• On the ground experience in different markets within the region through qual research
• Can write succinct, precise and actionable summaries of research findings
• Experience presenting / socialising insights at all levels of an organisation (and esp. to non-researchers)
