Have you ever wondered how Netflix is made available on all of your favorite devices? Wondered how you're able to pay for Netflix through your mobile bill? Or thought about how we track incoming and outgoing payments related to our global partnerships? We are looking for a finance professional who shares our passion for the these questions and who enjoys working cross-functionally with groups such as business development, legal, and FP&A. You will be based in Singapore but will work cross-functionally across many time zones with our US and International offices.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
• Work closely with the APAC Business Development and Legal teams to understand partnerships strategies and deal structures.
• Perform detailed review of partnership deals and collaborate with corporate accounting team to ensure proper treatment in both the US GAAP and local financial statements.
• Manage all aspects of finance operations associated with partner agreements, including, but not limited to, vendor set up, payment flow explanation, invoicing, timely payment collection, reconciliation of data, and dealing with any billing and payment issues within the region.
• Collaborate with International Tax and Compliance teams.
• Drive operational process improvements.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• 4 years of relevant experience
• Degree in Accounting/Finance
• Fluent in English; other regional languages are helpful
• Advanced Excel experience with the ability to navigate large data sets
• Proven project management experience and demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Experience in tech or entertainment industry a plus
• Experience with Workday Financials or other cloud based ERP systems is a plus
• Willing and able to frequently travel internationally
