In Consumer Insights (CI) we work on multiple projects, from a diverse range of series and movies, to managing different longitudinal tracking tools. All of these take planning, developing and managing. We're great at doing this within our teams, but as the business grows, we need the support of an organised mind. Whilst we are looking primarily for someone with exceptional organisational skills, we'd love to bring a coordinator on board who is also interested in research and would also see this as an opportunity to learn and grow.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves entertainment, is incredibly organised, knows how to stay calm, loves juggling lots of projects, is fascinated by consumer attitudes and behaviour and is interested in developing their research skills.
The tasks breakdown as follows:
Admin/Project coordination tasks:
• We conduct series and movie research screenings around the world to understand what works and what doesn't for consumers, and need someone who can plan, organise and get these into play - including booking theaters and coordinating with external partners
• We work with external agencies to set up focus groups in many different countries, but need someone on the inside who can get these off the ground and manage the process - including booking focus group facilities and monitoring recruiting progress
• As part of our on-going surveys we constantly update information on cast and titles, and need someone who can be in charge of keeping our surveys up to date
• We create dashboards of data from our on-going surveys and need someone to maintain the quality and accuracy of what we're reporting
• Our work is global, so coordinating translations of our surveys would be a key responsibility
Opportunity for research skills development:
• Interfacing with key internal and external tracking partners to update studies based on new information and/or new questions that arise among Netflix stakeholders
• Building consumer awareness to understand what the data means and how it can inform our other studies
• Developing short memos that deliver key info to stakeholders
Helps if you have:
• Coordinator experience - within a consumer research org. will be a big advantage
• Some research experience would be nice to have, but lack of won't be a deal breaker
• Have managed lots of tasks in a fast paced environment
• A calm, collected approach to tasks will go a long way
• A curious mind and an interest in entertainment, especially movies, are ideal
• University Degree required
