What we are looking for:
Netflix is a rapidly growing, dynamic, and ever-changing business. Our culture shapes who we are and how we operate. Given all of these factors, we are adding a Director, Talent (HR Business Partner) to the team. The role reports to the VP, Talent for global Marketing and PR.
The ideal candidate:
First and foremost, you'll understand the business and the culture and will be a shining example of what it means to be a stunning colleague (living our values, understanding how our culture comes to life, and possessing a deep knowledge of the business). This role is unique in the sense that you'll be responsible for coaching, influencing and guiding the teams in combination with making decisions on org design, compensation, employee development, and much more. You'll learn the business and culture inside and out such that you are able to provide partnership and guidance (not HR best practices) to business leaders and their teams.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and thoughtful leader - someone who is highly collaborative and develops creative solutions to complex challenges. The right person for this role will:
• Have passion and curiosity for the Netflix business and culture
• Be comfortable with ambiguity, and able to make quick, well-informed decisions.

• Value and respect every member of the team by living our value of Inclusion alongside our other cultural values
Experience:
This position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive HR/OD/OE experience. Experience in more than one industry or business sector is highly desired, with particular emphasis on entertainment, marketing, and technology. Since our business is rapidly growing, proven track record with regional marketing, partner marketing, licensing, social and publicity teams is highly valuable. It goes without saying, but we'll say it anyway - you need to have great EQ, be an excellent coach, communicator, and leader.
