We are currently looking to hire a seasoned film and television licensing attorney to help support our growing licensing efforts in Asia Pacific. The successful candidate will work as part of the Netflix legal team to structure, draft and negotiate agreements with independent studios, producers, and distributors to acquire and distribute content to Netflix subscribers in Asia Pacific and around the world. He or she will likely need to delve into local law and practice in various countries, and should be extremely comfortable making decisions that have both legal and business impact.

This position will be based in Singapore with periodic travel, including to Netflix's office in Hollywood.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have 10 years of broad-based film and television content licensing experience, including direct experience structuring, drafting and negotiating SVOD and/or pay or free television acquisition and distribution agreements, and practical knowledge of the industry (including content windowing strategies, and the evolving theatrical, VOD, pay TV, syndication and home video landscapes). Experience providing in-house support in an Internet company, major studio, television network and/or entertainment company is preferred. Experience in the Asia Pacific market and fluency in English is required, and working knowledge of other Asia Pacific language(s) is preferred.
