The Director of Cartography will lead the Partners' cartographic team in the creation of all mapping across all print and digital platforms. This person will help National Geographic Partners continue to set the standard for visual journalism around the world. This includes honoring the authenticity and rigorous commitment to excellence that members have come to expect from us while pushing on new approaches and new media to bring our stories to the next generations of members.
Responsibilities
• Lead the Cartographic team in the conceptualization and creation of mapping for:
• NGM
• NG Books
• Retail
• Intracompany needs
• Conceptualize and execute editorial mapping for print and digital.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory experience leading a team.
• Ability to travel 10%.
