Role Purpose
NBCUniversal is seeking a Manager, Learning and Organization Development. This position will participate in company-wide learning strategies, in partnership with NBCUniversal businesses. The Manager will join the Learning & OD team, and will focus primarily on helping to drive organization-wide talent management solutions, design and delivery of leadership programs, tailored consulting and offsite facilitation. The Manager serves as project manager for a range of talent programs, and will expand our portfolio of offerings over time. When needed, Manager will customize training, in partnership with subject matter experts or external vendors. In order to be successful, this individual must facilitate with credibility and poise, possess excellent design skills and display sharp business acumen. Join a collaborative & entrepreneurial consulting team, in high demand across the company. This role is based in Universal City and reports to VP, Learning & Organization Development.
Responsibilities
* Participate in the design, tailor and deliver experiential learning programs for a wide range of levels, across businesses. Partner with in-house and external experts to enhance our corporate programs
* Support and/or manage enterprise-wide OD projects – e.g., performance management, employee survey, talent reviews/succession planning process.
* Partner with divisions, HR and business to assess gaps and provide performance solutions, tailored to specific business needs (strategy alignment, team integration, 360 feedback, etc.)
* Assist in the implementation of senior leader strategy session for NBCUniversal. Work with speakers, content updates, and seamless execution over multiple sessions
* Serve as a contributor on key projects, coach Learning and OD team members as needed. Stay current on new talent management solutions, learning delivery and industry trends
* Create and manage project plans, communicate status with stakeholders, lead client teams to hit project milestones
* Drive improvements in marketing, measurement and process behind our Learning services, so that clients understand offerings. Leverage technology and social media where appropriateQualifications/RequirementsBasic Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Learning and Organization Development, with success in designing, planning and delivering talent programs

* First class facilitation and training delivery skills. High credibility as communicator and coach.
* Demonstrated proficiency in program design, both face to face and virtual experiences (webcasts, podcasts, etc.)
* Strong analytical abilities and general business acumen. Experience in fast paced environment
* Superb project management skills. Must be a good planner and a strong, ''hands on'' implementer
* Influencing ability and track record in relationship building. Experience delivering results in an entrepreneurial team
* Proficiency in computer and Microsoft Office Skills (Power Point, Excel, Word)Consulting experience, ability to manage multiple work streams
* Experience with digital media, social networking, and collaboration tools, as a way to enhance learning
* Media or marketing experience is a strong plus, understanding of the creative mindset
* Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology or an MBA is strongly preferred
