Full Time Job
Role Purpose:
NBCUniversal is looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized and highly efficient individual to work within the Content & Production Risk Legal group handling production- and marketing- related agreements and issues, along with other tasks and matters.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review and negotiate production and marketing agreements (including location agreements, vendor agreements, below-the-line talent agreements and intellectual property licenses)
Provide timely and thoughtful advice on potential risks and issues
Process and upload contracts and correspondence into group files and databases
Conduct legal and other research and prepare memos
Create and update forms
Otherwise assist the Director of Contract Administration and attorneys in the Content & Production Risk group
Basic Qualifications:
2-3 years+ of experience in a professional role requiring strong analytic and organizational skills and careful attention to detail
Bachelor's Degree
Eligibility Requirements:

Basic understanding of legal terms and conditions relevant to the entertainment industry
Proven problem-solving skills
Experience drafting, revising and negotiating agreements
Strong communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
Good judgment and ability to work independently with all levels of company personnel and with outside parties
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information
Experience with agreements and legal issues
Willingness to work late and on weekends on short notice
