NBCUniversal's Stamford Media Center and Productions LLC is looking for a full-time Assistant Editor for the Steve Wilkos Show.
Responsibilities:
• Overall support of the Post-Production Department
• Transcode, import, and sort footage in preparation for edits.
• String out and edit pieces as directed by the Sr. Post Producer and Lead Editor.
• Export final screeners and protection copies.
• Manage ISIS Storage and serve as the shows media manager.
• Must have experience in a multi-cam environment grouping clips.
• Research and organize music and sfx for editors.
• Liaison with various departments in production.
Qualification/Requirements:
• Experience with AVID Media Composer, Adobe Suite, Various digital file formats and frame rates.
• Experience using AVID interplay.
• If not a member of MPEG Local 700, an application to join must be made.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ years working as an Assistant Editor in the entertainment industry.
• Willingness to work overtime and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong organizational, leadership skills with a great attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize work and multitask responsibilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Willingness to work overtime, and on weekends with short notice.
• Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT.
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be 18 years or older.
Desired Characteristics:
Strong organizational, leadership skills with great attention to detail.
Must demonstrate a high quality of work performed, both accurately and efficiently.
Self-motivated with ability to prioritize work and multitask over a wide range of responsibilities.
