Responsibilities Role Summary:
The HR Assistant will perform a broad range of client support activities for several organizations within Ad Sales at NBCUniversal including employee interaction, Human Resources administration, and project work. This position is also responsible for interfacing & problem solving with a number of business partners including: Talent Acquisition, Finance, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS & Corporate Human Resources. This position will manage administrative support for the team including; workflow forms, payroll processing, SAP updates, etc. This position will report to the Senior Vice President, Human Resources for Ad Sales.
Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the SVP including travel arrangements, answering phones, maintaining calendar, expenses, etc.
• Schedule meetings, maintain distribution list, shared drives, and provide general office support as needed
• Plan logistics for meetings, events, roundtables, including room reservations and technology set- up
• Serve as primary user for SAP HR transactions including onboarding, terminations, workflow forms, & data validation exercises
• Draft, type and proofread project reports, letters, memos, presentations, spreadsheets and other
documents
• Answer and/or refer employee questions about Payroll, Benefits, Work/Life, Employee Perks, paid time off, company policies, etc
• Run regular and ad hoc reports from HR systems in support of both the human resources and finance teams
• Maintain and update departmental org charts
• Assist in administering the Ad Sales pipeline programs, including our summer internship program
• Assist in training, recruitment efforts, resume screening, and potentially interviewing
• Maintain personnel files working with NBCU Document Management
• Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential
• Provides support to the broader Human Resources team as it relates to Ad Hoc projects Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Advanced expertise with all Microsoft computer programs specifically with Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas), PowerPoint and Visio
