Responsibilities Role Summary
The HR Coordinator, Cable Entertainment is responsible for performing a broad range of HR and Executive Assistant administrative support for the Cable Entertainment Group. In addition to providing high-level administrative support to EVP, HR & Diversity Outreach, this position is responsible for interfacing & problem solving with business partners and providing broad HR administrative and transactional support for a team of 1 VP, 1 Director an HR manager and approximately 350 employees.
Responsibilities
• Provide high-level executive assistant support for EVP through calendar management and maintenance, coordinating heavy influx of phone calls and emails, scheduling business travel arrangements (air, ground & hotel), reconciling corporate cards
• Light admin support for VP through calendar management, business travel, and expense reporting
• Plan logistics for regular team meetings and trainings, organizing all facilities and IT/AV requirements
• Generate ad hoc reports and presentations; assist with crafting and sending mass employee communications
• Assist with organization change initiatives as they relate to client groups
• Support cross-portfolio initiatives of succession planning, learning and development events, diversity initiatives etc.
• Management of quarterly reporting on workforce metrics
• Act as a liaison with several HR departments including Payroll and Benefits, in order to manage and resolve day to day employee issues or redirect to appropriate contacts
• Serve as primary user for all HR information systems, SAP, Brassring, etc.
• Process change requests for all data changes, hires, promotions, timecard actions, termination paperwork, etc.
• Assist in recruiting of temporary talent through Agile1 / YOH
• Oversee the administration process for all leave of absence transactions, including partnering with payroll and benefits to ensure accuracy
• Running regular and ad hoc reports from applicable HR systems
• Upkeep of time card system through TimeKeeper application to maintain accuracy in paychecks, run regular overtime reports for HR and finance teams
• Keep apprised & updated on new regulations, company policies & procedures
• Attend & participate in training courses pertinent to Human Resources as required Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 2 years of HR or related experience in meeting fast paced employee based or client needs
• Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, working with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Advanced expertise with all Microsoft computer programs specifically with Microsoft Excel (ability to process data, create pivot tables, charts and formulas) and PowerPoint
