Responsibilities Role Summary:
The Director, Staffing Operations is responsible for the core DreamWorks staffing operations team. This includes building and maintaining strategic partnerships with the DreamWorks Feature and TV Recruiting teams, Artist Management and HR leadership teams. This role is focused on developing a flexible and scalable infrastructure that meets the demands of a fast-paced, high volume production business and maximizes the candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
• Create an operational center of excellence to support talent acquisition agenda and programming for DreamWorks Feature Animation, Television Animation, and Animation Technology organizations.
• Partner with the Feature and TV recruiting teams to refine and drive the Talent Acquisition strategy to position DreamWorks to attract an exceptional pool of diverse talent.
• Drive key initiatives, facilitate & lead meetings and projects with centralized sourcing and core recruiting teams.
• Guide the recruiting teams and internal partners through problem definition, issue identification, solutioning, and work plan development with all facets of talent acquisition including pipelining, sourcing, hiring, and onboarding.
• Provide consulting and support to key stakeholders to enable talent management capabilities, ensuring recruiting and talent management initiatives are aligned to sustain effectiveness.
• Work with the Feature and TV recruiting teams to create a world class, consistent, end-to-end candidate experience from job posting through to hire and onboarding.
• Create and streamline recruiting processes and operational efficiencies.
• Create and maintain KPI and metrics reports to gauge effectiveness and impact of talent acquisition initiatives.
• Develop a competitive intelligence knowledge base of desired role profiles, companies, and external partners.
• Explore and create innovative methods to identify and engage target candidates, skills and markets.
• Develop and maintain a talent/recruiting branding identity and strategy to work across multiple platforms including the DreamWorks jobsite, external job sites, industry conferences, and campus/university outreach.
• Develop passive candidate and talent pipelines through strategic sourcing, networking, university relations, events/conferences, outreach, internet vehicles and strategic research.
• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Applicant Tracking System and work with corporate business application partners to continue to refine the features and functionality needed to power the talent acquisition engine and simplify the candidate experience.
• Develop and execute recruiting knowledge sharing processes and procedures. Create and deliver internal communication strategies, messages, tools and cascade mechanisms to ensure awareness, understanding of and action required with regards to recruiting processes and tools
• Review and analyze trends to advise and develop recommendations to achieve or modify the most effective talent attraction methods.
• Collaborate with the Feature/TV recruitment, production and artistic management teams to share best practices and understand long term hiring needs.
• Be well versed in market compensation (combining world class negotiating skills and collaboration with compensation to arrive at competitive rates), while also providing market insights to the recruiters and hiring managers to remain competitive. Qualifications/Requirements Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 10 years of related work experience, leading full lifecycle recruiting engagements and at least 4 years' experience managing high performing leadership recruiting teams.
• Demonstrated strategic partnership with various leaders across the organization.
• 3-4 years of program and project management experience. Desired Characteristics Desired Characteristics:

• Ability to consolidate, analyze and present complex data from numerous sources
• Exhibits an elevated level of discretion and act as a trusted partner
• Well-developed relationship management and consultative skills, ability to influence the business and set clear expectations
