Production Manager
Moscow Ballet seeks an experienced Production Manager for the annual Great Russian Nutcracker tour. Tour dates are November TBD - December 31, 2017. The tour will visit theatrical venues with varying degrees of equipment, rigging and facility quality. The qualified candidate will be well versed in rigging, logistics and time management. The successful candidate will have experience setting schedules for local union crews and in directing local union crews for load in and load out.
Production Manager will be responsible for technical advance of each venue on the tour to develop a day-of plan. Detailed advancing notes will be required, including organizing line-set schedules, labor schedules, and schedules for each department (wardrobe, LD, carpenter, props etc.).
The Production Manager will lead the crew. Ability to delegate work and resolve conflicts between departments is critical. Must be a team player with proven ability to work with all personality types.
Production Manager will be responsible for:
- Setting load in and out schedules
- Confirming local labor calls
- Direct local crews during load in and out
- Hanging back drops and setting trim in tandem with Lighting Department
- Call show cues over com during performances
