MSO offers a non-paid internship program designed for those who are enthusiastic to learn about publicity and its pivotal role in the music/entertainment industry.
MSO's internship program is an excellent way to get an overall view of what it is like to work in the music industry, dealing with artists, record labels and management on a day-to-day basis. MSO's team strives to find new ways to expose our artists to the public through a wide variety of media outlets (newspapers, magazines, television and online).
Internship duties consist of compiling press kits, organizing various mailings (from advance CD to tour mailings), and becoming a part of our energetic and fast-paced office by observing the every day activities of a music publicity firm.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of 15 hours a week.
2. Minimum of 3 months.
3. Submission of intern application, to be completed at in-person interview
4. Submission of resume and cover letter detailing your career objectives and goals.
5. Must be living in the L.A. area at time of internship.
