Full Time Unpaid Internship
Summary:
Position Timeline: September 18, 2017 – May 4, 2018
Hours: 20 hours per week with the possibility of additional hours (based on the Bucks game schedule and group events/projects)
Breakdown: Hours will be split between office work, Bucks games and special events.
Working in tandem with another Group Sales Intern, this position is responsible for assisting with the coordination and facilitation of programs and events for the group sales team for the purpose of increasing group ticket revenue and enhancing the customer experience.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• In-Office Duties and Responsibilities
• Account creation and order processing
• Prospecting for sales leads and group programs
• Run data-based reports
• Assist with mailings
• Assist with the updating of the contact management system (CRM)
• Make follow-up phone calls
• Other assigned tasks
• Game Day & Special Event Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist with group Fan Experiences (ie- greeting guests, managing groups courtside, organizing credentials, working with security/ushers, etc.)
• Assist Group Sales Coordinator in managing game night staff
• Help with the planning and preparation for special events
• Assist with set-up, teardown, and other duties at special events
Qualification Requirements:
• Education Requirement:
• Must be a high school graduate.
• Must be a current college/university student pursuing a graduate or post-graduate degree.
• Must be a junior or senior if pursuing a bachelor’s degree.
• List any necessary training, systems, etc. experience required to perform the job
• Competent in Microsoft Office (primarily Word and Excel)
• Comfortable speaking in front of and directing large groups
• Must have strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Must be eager to learn and grow professional experience
• Must dress and act in a professional manner
• Able to lift at least 50lbs
