Responsibilities:
Develops sales plans and strategies with senior management
Promoting brand growth and development
Consistent and proactive approach to product knowledge; deep understanding of the product from multiple business angles
Maintain full knowledge of all market materials and information for the brand and collection
Analyze sales reports and partner with Buyers & Product Merchandisers to maximize category sales performance and recommend reorders
Coordinate and manage sales activities for specialty stores
Visit accounts on a seasonal basis
Creating weekly/monthly sales goals for sales team along with CEO.
Take charge in confirming vendors for trade shows and taking part in shows.
Must maintain/create strong relationships with all buying offices and our vendors.
This position will require traveling.
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of wholesale account experience
• 3 + years experience specific to premium contemporary denim or related apparel sales with boutique buyers
• Excellent presentation skills
• Strong analytic ability
• Advanced communication & organizational skills
• Ability to forge relationships with corporate partners
• Personable, enthusiastic, energetic & hard working
• Outstanding negotiation and closing skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Bachelors Degree with relevant major is preferred
• Computer literate in MS Office is necessary
• Proven track record of success in sales and management
• Knowledge of market trends
