Metro-Goldwyn- Mayer Studios Inc. (''MGM'') is seeking an Assistant to provide day-to-day administrative support to its Facilities Department. This position will be located in MGM's Los Angeles office. The successful candidate must have experience handling a wide range of administrative and executive support related tasks in an environment of constantly changing priorities.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Vendor management and invoice processing
• Monitor and process help desk requests to satisfactory completion
• Handle daily administrative tasks including: assisting with scheduling, filing, ordering office supplies, etc.
• Heavy phone contact
• Coordinate office moves
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance issues with the building staff or designated vendors
• Oversee company Ride Share program and company subsidized Health Club memberships
• Create Purchase Order Requisitions as needed
• Support mailroom staff as needed
• Handle special projects as needed
• Schedule off hours air conditioning requests
Requirements:
• College degree preferred
• 2-3 years' administrative support experience in a corporate environment
• Experience with CAD desirable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organizational skills are of the highest importance
• Must be a self-starter
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
