Job Description
Responsible for producing a year-long branded campaign surrounding a multi-week music tour for a blue chip brand. Responsibilities include managing internal and external development teams on both the artist and the client side, including day-to-day communication and management. The candidate will ensure milestones are delivered on time, on budget, per process, and complete, and that the approved submissions maintain a high standard of integrity and compliance. The candidate must be passionate about the artist, the brand, and assume ownership over the campaign at all levels.
Essential Functions:
1. Project Management
• Primary day-to-day manager of all campaign deliverables, including social, digital, production, PR, reporting
• Create and manage master and sub-project timelines
• Delegate projects within campaign to other team members and work with them to ensure quality standards and deadlines are met
• Review and monitor all milestones for compliance and completion
• Ensure relevant feedback is communicated to the internal team, clients, artists, vendors
2. Planning & Administration
• Provide structure and organization for pre-production, execution, and post-production (recaps) of campaign
• Report internal/external progress on short- and long-term deliverables
• Manage, research, write, and guide proposals, analysis documents, creative briefs, work orders, budgets, training manuals, timelines, flowcharts, and RFPs
3. Marketing & PR
• Organize internal and external briefings, meetings, calls
• Oversee content, production, and distribution of websites, mobile, social media, graphic design, printed materials, and presentations
• Manage press planning and activities
• Regular public speaking; giving presentations and leading creative discussion
4. Production
• Ensure accurate documentation and quality control
• Interview, train, and manage production staff
• Travel and attend events and tour dates as needed for execution and quality control
5. Financial Management
• Oversee preparation of budgets, approve project POs, review vendor agreements and payment plans
Job Requirements:
• Music industry experience; touring experience a +
• Meticulous attention to detail
• College degree a +
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business/agency management and planning
• Impeccable organization skills
• Automotive awareness or passion a +
• Practical experience in creating, guiding, and evaluating multiple production processes
• Strong project- and time-management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities, solve complex problems, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to identify and mitigate risks
• Enthusiastic, positive, and team-oriented
• Experience with online/Internet/social media
• Ability to travel regularly, sometimes for weeks at a time
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including Acrobat, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Smartsheet and Slack preferred
