The Coordinator will support the Distribution team across a wide range of activities and functions, ranging from administrative to sales and to business development. This role is an opportunity for someone interested in media and entertainment to get exposure to many aspects of content creation and distribution and to grow with the group and the company.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the Coordinator is to support the members of the Distribution team in their licensing, business development and other revenue-generating activities.
These include, but are not limited to:
Market Logistics
Oversees company and individual registration at all television and film markets, globally.
Interfaces between Distribution, Marketing and RevOps (Operations) to ensure title/slate previews packs are up to date and accurate and online app is current.
Monitors screening room and website as it relates to sales elements and liaise with marketing for updates.
Distribution Support
Assists team in analyzing territories and gathering information about new players in the markets.
Provides main point of contact for incoming licensing requests; act as first screen.
Maintains release calendar across businesses (licensing, transactional).
Administrative Support
Coordinates team meetings/calls.
Provides email/call support to partners as needed.
Coordinates hotel, car, and other reservations for team and clients.
Assists with team travel reservations as needed.
Other tasks as required.
Competencies:
Prioritizes and plans work activities, uses time efficiently and develops realistic action plans.
Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills. Listens effectively, transmits information accurately and understandably, and actively seeks feedback.
Well-organized, self-directed team player. Remains open to others' ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things.
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner and gathers and analyzes information skillfully.
Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with co-workers, customers, vendors and others.
Requirements:
1-3 years experience in an administrative, marketing events or other entertainment/media company position.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong technical and PC/Mac skills.
Foreign language is a plus.
