Full Time Job
The Production Operations & Technologies Department of Viacom’s Global Entertainment Group (Comedy Central, MTV, The Paramount Network (formerly Spike), VH1 and Logo) oversees all facets of Post Production Operations & Editorial, Post Facilities Management, Remote & Studio Operations, Live Tent-Pole Events, Content Management & Delivery, Near live clip editing and publishing for social media platforms, Live Streaming, Emerging Production & Content Management Technologies, Production Technologies Operations and Content Creation support services.
Responsibilities
Assist department Senior Vice President with general administrative duties including, but not limited to:
• Coordinating internal and external meetings and appointments
• Screening and prioritizing mail and answering phones
• Maintaining a complete filing system
• Maintaining executive's appointment calendar
• Interfacing with department team members
• Distributing information/materials to staff
• Occasional special projects within production (helping during a shoot or editing)
• Making travel arrangements and preparing T & E reports
• Assist in updating contact sheets and other departmental documents
Basic Qualifications
• 1-3 years of administrative experience (strong internship experience accepted)
• Prior experiences in production/technology management or related department
• Excellent PC skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Additional Qualifications
• College degree preferred
• Good organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Professional phone skills
