The Senior Director, Marketing Solutions will be responsible for assisting department leadership in developing sales collateral for the department, overseeing all ideation and storytelling of new and existing partnerships, assisting in key renewals and new business revenue generation and managing the activation of select accounts. In addition, the Senior Director will lead all elements of audience research for the Partnership Sales and Services department.
Job Functions:
• Oversee from start to finish the development of customized solutions and ideation/storytelling for all new partnerships and renewals
• Manage the pipeline of projects and associated deadlines
• Own all aspects of department research and audience analysis (including, but not limited to, Nielsen Repucom, Nielsen Scarborough, etc.)
• Manage the activation of select accounts as needed/assigned
• Work in concert with the graphic design team to create a compelling and standardized platform to promote the organization and sell its partnership assets (sales presentations, creative approach/strategy, etc.)
• Actively participate in meetings/calls to aid the sales process (e.g., by clarifying objectives and areas of interest, presenting custom ideas, building rapport with clients)
• Assist SVP in new business revenue generation on large scale projects as needed
• Perform all other duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum of fifteen years work experience with marketing partners in a professional team or agency environment
• Experience in developing compelling and impactful integrated marketing partnership presentations
• History of successfully managing marketing partnerships for a team
• Proficiency working with Nielsen Repucom, Nielsen Scarborough, and other research tools
• Possess excellent reasoning, problem-solving, creative thinking, and communication skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Demonstrated ability to generate significant value in an entrepreneurial environment
• Able to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
