Job Functions:
• Assist broadcasters, media and visiting club public relations representatives before, during and after games
• Assist with writing of daily game notes and team publications
• Compile daily clips and stat packs on gamedays
• Upload gameday information to Dodgers online press box and distribute information to on-site media, including game notes, press releases and information guides to the media in a timely manner
• Assist with the team's photo and media archives
• Answer phone calls and respond to requests and inquiries in a knowledgeable manner
• Assist Public Relations and other departments with special events as needed
• Perform related duties as assigned
Basic Requirements/Qualifications:
• College coursework or Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism or a related field preferred
• Prior working experience in sports PR or journalism preferred
• Ability to interact professionally with media, players and Dodger employees
• Spanish speaker a plus, but not required
• Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
