As Digital Media Staff, you will strengthen these objectives by assisting in the creation and deployment of assets across the LA Clippers' digital platforms, including the team's website and other online properties. Tasking will primarily take place during the day of games with opportunities to work office hours to maintain/supplement Digital projects. This is a seasonal role based around the NBA season with a potential opportunity to continue during the off-season based on need.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Digital team during event nights to ensure tasking is completed in a timely manner and reflects Clippers quality standards.
• Publish content and distribute to website, social media and other digital outlets.
• Update and organize asset libraries for marketing and sales campaigns.
• Manage internal requests for website updates and other digital production needs.
• Research, develop and present ideas to enhance the vision of Clippers digital strategy.
Characteristics
/ Qualifications
• Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and general understanding of Premier is a plus.
• General understanding of web CMS (Drupal, Wordpress).
• Proficiency in photo manipulation, editing, cropping and preparing of files for digital publishing.
• Familiarity with social media publishing and scheduling across all platforms.
• Ability to demonstrate basic understanding of front end web design (HTML/CSS).
• JavaScript and experience with JSON data an extra plus.
• Basketball and general sports knowledge a plus.
• Willingness to learn and should be able to flourish in a high growth, dynamic environment.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
• Self-starter and entrepreneurial spirit with hands-on approach towards business.
• Must be available to work nights and weekends, availability during regular office hours is a plus.
