Search for Product Manager, Digital Platforms jobs in Los Angeles-CA
Lionsgate is currently seeking a Product Manager to drive product definition, design and delivery for one or more of the company's streaming video services. This position will report to the SVP of Product Management, and will work closely with engineering, marketing, customer service and other internal teams to craft product requirements, guide design, manage the backlog and shepherd the overall product.
Responsibilities:
Lead discovery and definition of new interactive experiences for consumers, including market/competitive research (when needed) and product ideation, concepting and wireframing
Manage intake and prioritization of new features, product fixes and other changes flowing in from stakeholders and customers in an organized, prioritized backlog
Use market/competitive analysis, best practices, traffic metrics, emerging trends and lessons learned from previous projects to produce superior user experiences, from speedy app performance to intuitive user interfaces, optimized information architectures and compelling content presentations
Produce documentation, including product requirements (PRDs and/or User Stories) and wireframes (if needed) to communicate to development teams and stakeholders
Collaborate with visual designers and manage usability testing to deliver world-class user experiences
Communicate product vision, strategy and execution details to executives and stakeholders in written summaries and visual presentations
Manage the entire lifecycle of products, from ideation to launch to ongoing operation and performance
Manage/guide other product managers within organization
Experience & Skills:
Three plus years (3+) in digital product management with 1+ years specifically in Mobile and/or TV app product management
4-year degree required; MBA a plus
Experience developing product requirements and launching interactive entertainment experiences and digital content to consumers; streaming video experience a plus
Deep and demonstrable understanding of the Mobile & TV devices landscape and platforms, including technical capabilities and feature limitations of each
Background managing consumer-facing products in one or more of the following categories: Digital Media, Gaming, Social products, Mobile content
Solid understanding of the online video industry and online/mobile advertising platforms
Strong consumer instincts with an eye for clean user experience
Experience building high-level business cases for developing new consumer products that are monetized via subscriptions and/or advertising, including basic forecasting of user adoption, CPC/CPA, conversion and churn rates
Ability to distill input from multiple stakeholders into detailed product requirements (PRDs and/or User Stories) and wireframes
Experience with agile and waterfall development approaches
Technical aptitude and an ability to communicate effectively with software developers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including demonstrated ability to package and present product strategies in concise presentations
