Summary of Position:
Lionsgate is currently seeking a Post Production Manager it's for Laugh Out Loud OTT platform. This role will help coordinate and organize Original and Licensed Content Delivery Requirements and Delivery Schedules. The job will include 70% Production, 30% Programming/Operations responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
• Front line POC for all Post Teams
• Distribute and Receive Deliverables
• Organize content and track in overall spreadsheet on Box.com
• Track Post Schedules if/when they change throughout the Day
• Manage Production/Post production Contact Lists
• Eventually track Orders placed for episodic mastering
• Manage the procurement, receipt and processing of incoming media assets
• On-board Producers for file-based delivery, explaining technical and deliverable requirements for each program and provide Post-Production support from commencement through the technical evaluation process, negotiating corrective action where needed and signing off for final payment
• Create new workflows to improve the efficiency of procuring content from suppliers, and to improve communication with LOL Producers, serving as a consultant on special projects as needed
• Edit documentation for technical requirements or deliverables for new types of program deals as needed
• Ensure technical accuracy for all delivered material for LOL arranging the necessary fixes for program materials as necessary and work with programs to complete these fixes in a timely manner
• Work with Head of Production on overall Studio archive system
• Maintain LTO archive tape library
• Responsible for maintaining available active and archive storage
• Locate, collect, and confirm previous video assets as requested
• Pull artwork from large libraries to create image assets for Licensed Content
• Resize artwork as necessary
• Receive/Organize Metadata for Original content and track missing items
Experience & Skills:
• Minimum of 4 years work experience required in post-production and/or business environment
• Knowledge of traditional and new media production models
• Detail-oriented, extremely well organized and self-sufficient in completing projects with little or no direction
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and activities and prioritize workload
• Must be proactive and excel in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to Work long hours on occasion, especially under tight deadlines
• Strong Project Management skills
• Knowledge of Final Delivery & QC is necessary. Experience on Photoshop, Premiere, and Encoder is a plus
