Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a highly organized and proactive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President of Executive Communications & Investor Relations responsible for corporate media relations and C-level executive communications. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and high pressure environment. Candidate must understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality and maintain a high level of professionalism, common sense and keen awareness of day-to-day operations for a high level executive's office. Candidate should have strong written and oral communications skills and be comfortable interacting with the Company's senior management team.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Manage calendar planning, coordinate meetings and prepare agendas
• Handle daily administrative duties including answering phones, scheduling conference calls and maintaining call logs
• Maintain comprehensive project lists and reports
• Organize department folders and files
• Transcribe hand-written meeting notes, edits to announcements and other materials
• Collate media coverage on various announcements on a daily basis
• Interact comfortably with senior management, the media and all levels of staff within the company
• Liaise with information technology and office services for department needs
• Coordinate department billing and file expense reports
• Schedule executive travel
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
Skills/Qualifications:
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Assistant supporting C-level executives in a relevant field
• Strong verbal and written communication skills marked by diplomacy, discretion and poise
• Excellent time management skills
• Highly motivated, resourceful and very detail-oriented
• Exceptional multitasking and prioritizing skills
• Possess strong interpersonal skills
• High proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to work independently as well as with a team
• Bachelor's Degree required
