Kino Lorber, Inc., a full-service film distributor based in New York City, is seeking a full-time Production Coordinator to assist various departments, including Theatrical, VOD, Educational, and Publicity with materials needs.
Duties Include
- Encode and upload film trailers to digital platforms as requested
- Cut clips from Pro-res files for new theatrical titles
- Assist in trailer and clip editing
- Rip film files from DVD, Blu-ray, Flash, Vimeo, etc. to mp4 or DVD as needed
- Encode films to spec for broadcast delivery
- Encode and upload films to Vimeo for screeners
- Manage file creation, quality control and distribution to streaming platforms
- Create, process, and deliver metadata
- Interact with and coordinate delivery of materials to and from numerous outside vendors
- Graphic creation for Publicity and other departments
- Assist in the development of a comprehensive digital asset management catalog
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in post-production
- Bachelor's degree in film or related field
- Knowledge of video codecs, file creation, quality control and transfer
- Ability to deal with needs of several departments and maintain accountability
- Fluent in Premier, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut, Microsoft Excel
- Graphics production capabilities using Adobe Creative Cloud
