Job Title Local Sales Coordinator
As a Sales Coordinator you will be part of a high paced, innovative, and collaborative team. Employee will handle a variety of routine and non-routine client requests and tasks from Account Executives and Management.
Responsible for managing a high-volume of media campaigns throughout the life cycle of each order for KTLA, ANTENNA-TV, THIS-TV, and KTLA.com. Emphasis is placed on ensuring the timely and accurate airing of spot and digital schedules including but not limited to order processing, order confirmations, managing pre-empts and makegood offers, compare estimated ratings with actual ratings to ensure audience delivery, distribution of daily/weekly spot times, assist with sponsorship fulfillment and downloading of airchecks. Coordinates KTLA prize fulfillment for promotional sweepstakes across social, digital, and on-air platforms. Prepares contest rules, waivers, and release forms. Maintains prize sheets, calendars, and contest files; collects prize assets and oversees prize inventory. Handle high volume of daily phone calls and mailings. Daily collaboration with sales team and internal departments required to complete daily tasks. Provides marketing support and general administrative duties as assigned

•Must have strong written/verbal communication
•Exhibits strong interpersonal and customer service skills; collaborates with others, maintains composure when faced with difficult situations and personalities
•Proactive self-starter with the ability to take and follow direction.
•Problem solving and decision-making skills required
•Must be able to handle critical deadlines and short turnarounds
•Excellent analytical skills and must be good with numbers
•High proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Working knowledge of sales support systems and databases; WO Traffic, WO OrderConnect, and Medialine
•Associate degree or equivalent related experience in television broadcasting, preferably in digital, sales, advertising, or promotions gained either through work experience or classroom study
•Minimum 1 year work experience in a media environment, preferably in digital sales, advertising or promotions
