KSTU Fox 13 Television has an immediate opening for a full-time, fun, hardworking Senior Promotion Producer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS; Research, conceptualize, write, shoot and edit topical news promotions that will effectively attract news viewers to our Fox 13 daily newscasts, including our highly rated morning news, Good Day Utah.
News Promotion Producer:
This includes, but is not limited to, producing image spots, series promotions, topical promotion, social media promotion and all outside advertising promoting the newscasts.
Writer, Producer, Videographer, Graphic Artist, Editor:
Position is involved in all facets of promotion production. Many projects require conceptualizing, writing, shooting, editing and producing graphics. Also, works directly with the Senior Graphic Artist in the more sophisticated elements of graphic design.
Social Media Strategist, Creator for Promotion:
Responsible for creating new forms of social media promotion. Producer of Video Stacks and other forms of social media production. Works closely with Creative Services Director in implementing social media strategies.
Equipment Budgeting and Management:
Helps budget for all promotional equipment. This includes all camera gear, lighting equipment, editing stations and software.
Responsible for all station promotional photography. This includes, but is not limited to, talent photo shoots for all Newscasts and The PLACE.
(Bonus) Drone Pilot and Videographer:
Official drone pilot supporting aerial photography for News Promotion and News production.
