RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Set up new vendors in accounting system, ensuring all appropriate tax paperwork has been completed and signed. (i.e., W9, W8BEN, or W8BENE)
-Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, details and approval prior to entry into accounting system.
-Monitor expense report system by processing reports and flagging items that fall outside expense policy guidelines.
-Audit and input credit card activity
-Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
-Create and learn role-related processes, procedures, and best practices
-Keep abreast of changes in area(s) of expertise and responsibility via participation in ongoing professional development and training as determined in collaboration with finance team and Human Resources
-Perform other duties, functions, responsibilities, projects and provide assistance as necessary
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
-2+ years of Accounts Payable experience
-High School diploma required-college courses in accounting preferred
-Must be well organized, a self-starter, and have a strong work ethic
-Detail oriented, professional attitude, and reliable
-Must know Oracle Cloud
-Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
-Possess strong organizational and time management skills
-Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis, and multi-tasking skills
-Thorough knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures
-Ability to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner
-Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced and high volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timelines
-Ability to perform mathematical computations fluently
-Experience working in media, ad sales or other entertainment industry is preferred
-Must be eligible to work in the United States

-Ability to organize and prioritize tasks resulting in consistent productivity
-Ability to meet accuracy and productivity goals
-Good problem solving skills
-Operate computers and other technology devices and equipment proficiently with associated software and apps in accordance with company policy and role responsibilities

-Perform work with patience, discretion, good judgement, courtesy and tact while working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures, including colleagues, clients, vendors, partners, contractors and other possible stakeholders
-Demonstrate effective, accurate and clear communication with excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, social media, reading, phone and customer service skills in accordance with role
-Respond to others in a timely and courteous manner
