Winter internship, unpaid position
Must be eligible for school credit
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and promotes excellence in international television programming and is the organization that presents the International Emmy Award to the best television programs produced, and initially aired, outside the U.S.
We are ideally looking for an intern who is able to commit at least 3 afternoons and/or mornings per week.
Intern will assist the Events Manager with a variety of tasks including, general administrative work, help in answering phones, and event support including: International Emmy Awards gala ceremony, post party, gift bag assembly, and Festival support.
Intern must have good written and phone skills, be highly details oriented, and be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. An interest in television, event planning, and international affairs are necessary and cultural sensitivity a must.
This is a great opportunity for a student seeking experience in a non-profit environment with an opportunity to learn about both creative and business aspects of international television. Start: ASAP
