Integrity Music, one of the top Praise & Worship labels and music publishers is looking for an experienced music industry professional to help with the administration of all processes related to product setup and mechanical licenses within music product royalty system for all Integrity Music locations to ensure accurate royalty calculations and reporting.
Job Location: Nashville, TN (Local candidates only please).
Reporting Relationships: Direct Manager: Sr. Manager, Music Administration
Position Requirements: Formal Education: 1-2 years of music royalty experience in lieu of Accounting or Music Business degree
Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years involving the administration of music royalties is desired.
Knowledge/Certification: Solid skills using Microsoft Excel and Word
Experience with Counterpoint products suite (Record Maestro, Music Maestro) preferred but not required
Familiarity with interpretation of contracts to ensure compliance of contractual terms in royalty payouts
Familiarity with music royalty terms for both artist and mechanical royalties
Strong attention to detail is a must
Core Competencies: Good Decision Maker, Positive Attitude, Communicates with Ease, Good task focus, Organized, Planner, Gets Along with Others, Accurate, Job done in timely fashion, Not easily overwhelmed
Comfortable working conditions, handling light weight, intermittent sitting, standing and walking. Working environment - open office environment, some noise.
28 hrs per week.
Job Description:
Perform accurate setup and maintenance of all information, in accordance with contract abstracts and licenses, for music products in artist & mechanical royalty modules for all locations. Assist with administering the process related to obtaining & processing mechanical licenses from external publishers for songs utilized on music releases for all locations. Assist in processing & review of quarterly royalty statements to ensure accurate information & payouts distributed. Assist in review & resolution of inquiries from royalty payees. Assist with the issuance of master use licenses (as directed) and following up with unpaid licenses in a timely manner. Other job duties as requested.
