Independent Media Inc. is looking for interns for the Fall 2011 session. Primary responsibilities include assisting the Executive Producer and Head of Production, as well tasks for the accounting department and vault. Outside of general administrative duties, interns will be asked to conduct research as well as assist in the prep, production, and wrap of our projects.
Independent Media is renowned for introducing feature film talent to the advertising marketplace, and exclusively represents a long list of directors, cinematographers, and writers from the studio and independent film industry. This is a great opportunity for students interested in pursuing a career as feature film or commercial producers. Internships are unpaid and offer interns the opportunity to develop long-term relationships and solid contact with key players in the industry.
Applicants should have:
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational skills
- Microsoft Office (Word & Excel)
- Ease with Mac/PC
**Candidates must receive college credit and be available at least two/three days or 14 hours per week. Availability is negotiable.**
