Summary: Imagem Music Group, one of the world's largest independent music publishers, is looking to add a Manager, Creative Services to its Los Angeles team. Work to proactively seek and procure synchronization licensing placements for Imagem's extensive music publishing catalog. Focus on film, television and gaming, but will also work across all media types to service Imagem's west coast music users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, develop and nurture relationships within television, film, gaming, advertising agencies and independent music consultants to sell our catalogs (classical, theatrical, standards and jazz, contemporary pop, rock) to them;
- Expand Imagem USA's client database through extensive networking;
- Provide clients with copyright advice, music expertise and inspiration, clearance and fee information;
- Translate its catalogs into a media friendly language;
- Field incoming music briefs and proactively pitch its catalogs across all media types, with focus on film, television and gaming;
- Create media timelines and develop pitch strategy accordingly;
- Facilitate opportunities for the catalogs to be remixed, rearranged, and/or covered for potential sync placements.
Qualifications:
- Background in Sales; and/or Music Supervision for advertising, film, TV; and/or the Record or Music Publishing Industry
- Deep contacts and relationships with networks, studios and 3rd party music supervisors;
- Driven by targets and thrive under pressure;
- Proactive and innovative;
- Creative and inspired in thinking about music, with the ability to convey to non-experts;
- Passionate and energetic;
- Team player and self-starter.
