Human Resources Coordinator
ITV America is now the largest independent producer of non-scripted content in America through its production companies Leftfield Pictures, Sirens Media, Loud TV, Outpost Entertainment, High Noon Entertainment, Gurney Productions, DIGA, Thinkfactory Media, ITV Entertainment, and scripted business ITV Studios America. ITV America produces leading content including Hell's Kitchen, Duck Dynasty, Pawn Stars, Fixer Upper, and Real Housewives of NJ. This role will report to the Director, Human Resources.
Job Responsibilities:
• Conduct new-hire orientations, send out notifications to new hires and managers, assist with reference checks
• Prepare paperwork required to place employee on payroll and establish employee's file
• Updates payroll records by entering new hires, job title changes, and department transfers
• Responds to employee inquiries/complaints ensuring timely responses
• Process employment verification requests / conduct background checks
• Support HR department in carrying out various human resources programs and procedures for all company employees/
• Assist in the exit interview process
• Track employee inquiries/claims re: Workers Comp, Unemployment, STD, FMLA, and LOA
• Assist in bi-weekly payroll functions as needed
• Administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and data entry
• Serve as liaison between new hires and administrators
• Perform all other duties as assigned / Execute HR initiatives and projects as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, responding to issues promptly with a strong orientation toward customer service/assertiveness with strong client focus/pro-active
• Ability to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapport/ Flexibility
• Strong organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow through
• Intimate knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiar with Federal and State Labor Laws, Government Compliance Requirements, Title VII, FMLA
• Prior experience with an HRIS Database a plus
• Knowledge of Principles and Practices of Human Resources
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree
1-2 years preferred
Classification: Non-Exempt
