We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Sales Marketing Manager to work with leading brands and agencies to build and sell video-first advertising solutions. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with responsibilities across sponsored and native video content, media planning, marketing and partnerships. This role will work closely with and influence ad sales, editorial, original video production and product development.
Key responsibilities:
• Creating and executing world-class advertising packages focused on breakthrough video experiences for our advertising partners and IMDb users
• Supporting ad sales revenue by conceiving and communicating innovative marketing solutions that leverage IMDb's digital portfolio inclusive of video, branded content, social and digital media assets
• Developing advertising pitches to address specific clients and proposals (RFPs) that integrate sponsored and branded video content, creative mockups, sizzle reels, marketing collateral, and pricing
• Participation in the development of new IMDb Original video series and content distribution mechanisms
• Meeting with clients and their agencies to understand goals, pitch opportunities, and gather feedback
• Charting, tracking, and routing incoming opportunities in the video pitch process; communicate new IMDb Original series and sponsorship packages to Amazon Media Group
• Working with stakeholders from other Amazon sales teams (e.g., Amazon.com, Twitch, Goodreads, Prime Restaurants) to support holistic pitches
• Manages the post-sale production process to ensure all deliverables are met; monitor video performance data to include in client recaps and case studies
• Tracking attainment toward video-specific ad revenue goals, identifying key business drivers, and driving actions to exceed targets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 5 years of experience in media/advertising with a concentration on video packaging; knowledge of packaging and selling original and branded content is critical
• At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising supporting ad sales in either a video, branded content or sales development/integrated marketing role
• Experience creating, closing, and implementing complex multi-million-dollar ad packages or content sponsorships that are centered around video and include editorial, ad product, experiential and media
• Experience creating and presenting marketing decks to advertising agencies and clients, resulting in millions of dollars of incremental revenue
• Experience providing ad sales with performance metrics and research utilizing internal and external data sources
• Ability to work successfully in an autonomous environment
• Ability to facilitate internal communication between multiple internal stakeholders throughout the pitch process
• Strong project management abilities to incorporate inputs and feedback from a wide set of internal and external stakeholders
• Obsession with developing solutions that satisfy the sometimes competing needs of both consumers and advertisers
• Willingness to work in a frugal environment where you will be called upon to do everything from high-level story to finalizing client presentations
• Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with entertainment clients or within an entertainment company
• Agency and/or client media planning/strategy experience
