We are seeking a talented and highly motivated sales marketing professional to drive growth of IMDb's advertising business with movie studios and television networks. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with responsibilities across marketing, sales development, and content sponsorships. This role will work closely with and influence ad sales, editorial, ad design, and product development.
Key responsibilities:
• Combining a compelling story and data into sales marketing materials for advertising on IMDb, including pitches and client case studies
• Creating and executing on world-class advertising packages focused on specific film genres, client goals, or seasonal events
• Developing advertising pitches to address specific clients and proposals (RFPs) that integrate custom ideas, creative mockups, marketing collateral, and pricing
• Working with stakeholders from other Amazon sales teams (e.g., Amazon.com, Amazon mobile, Kindle) to support holistic pitches
• Communicating with sales and sales operations around IMDb product and ad product changes
• Meeting with clients and their agencies to understand goals, pitch opportunities, and gather feedback
• Providing input into ad product development roadmap
• Tracking attainment toward ad revenue goals, identifying key business drivers, and driving actions to exceed targets
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 8 years of experience in media/advertising
• At least 5 years of experience in digital advertising supporting ad sales in either a product marketing or sales development/integrated marketing role
• Experience creating, closing, and implementing complex multi-million-dollar ad packages or content sponsorships involving editorial, offline and other media
• Experience creating and presenting marketing decks to advertising agencies and clients, resulting in millions of dollars of incremental revenue
• Experience providing ad sales with research utilizing internal and external data sources
• Ability to work successfully in an ambiguous environment
• Obsession with developing solutions that satisfy the sometimes competing needs of both consumers and advertisers
• Strong project management abilities to incorporate inputs and feedback from a wide set of internal and external stakeholders
• Willingness to work in a frugal environment where you will be called upon to do everything from high-level story to finalizing client presentations
• Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with entertainment clients or within an entertainment company
