International film sales and production company located in West Hollywood is currently looking for a paid legal intern. The position is ideal for a law student or recently law school graduate who intends on pursuing a career in the entertainment legal industry. The hours are flexible.
As the legal intern you will perform administrative and office support for the legal department. Duties may include:
- Provide efficient and professional administrative support.
- Prepare various correspondence and draft agreements (i.e., initial drafts, revisions, redlining, etc.)
- Affixing electronic signatures and filing agreements and documents on internal shared server
- Updating status reports
- Online and offline research projects
- Other duties as assigned by attorneys
Qualifications:
- Must be extremely organized
- Can-do, flexible attitude and demeanor with good level of business and common sense
- Eager to learn and to take on any task or assignment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as the ability to multi-task.
