HARBINGER PICTURES and UMEDIA are two LA based production companies looking for Fall interns. We share an office space in the Hollywood Hills providing interns with an opportunity to work with people from two active production companies.
HARBINGER PICTURES is looking for interns for the spring semester of 2017. We are a boutique feature film production company, producing such films as the Academy Award-nominated THE HELP. We are in post on two feature films and continue to work in active development on 6 - 8 projects. The environment is comfortable and creative. Working with Harbinger provides students with an opportunity to learn first hand about every step of movie making.
UMEDIA
is a vertically integrated film group with 100 staff based in London,
Brussels, Paris, Vancouver, and Los Angeles. The company is one of Europe's leading
production groups, combining the activities of development, production, financing,
and visual effects. Since its inception in 2004, Umedia has invested over $500
million via it's tax shelter, equity, and development funds, and been involved in 300
films, including multi-Academy Award-winning THE ARTIST, GRACE OF MONACO,
JOHN WICK and YVES SAINT LAURENT.
- Primary responsibilities for all interns will include script coverage, research,
- answering/logging calls, typical errands like dropping off packages, picking up
- lunches or coffee for guests, etc. Must have a car but will be reimbursed for mileage.
Hours are 10:30am-5:30pm 1 or 2 days a week. Must be available to start in January and work through the week of May 26th. The Position is unpaid but we offer and encourage students to arraign to receive school credit.
