Description
Key responsibilIties
Describe the key responsibilities & role criteria. More specifically, the job entails:
• Partner with HR team to implement best practices with the Payroll/HR structure. Work with HR and on and off-site Managers to ensure the integrity of the ADP system is maintained, and is used to its capabilities
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage projects or assignments that are moderately complex in nature where professional judgment is required in solving problems and making recommendations
• Liaise daily with company headquarters in Los Angeles, CA and E.M.E.A. office locations in Manchester, London, Dubai, Mumbai and Singapore
• Ability and availability to collaborate across time zones under your responsibilities
• Responsible for balancing payroll runs and ensuring all compliance reports are prepared and fully reconciled, within compliance of local laws and company policies in a timely manner
• Prepare month-end payroll related journal entries
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Produce and analyze monthly and ad-hoc reports
• Advising on and amending payroll for UK pay regulations and legislation
• Processing pension auto-enrollment
• Assure timely and accurate filing of all local taxes in various countries where the company has employees (This may include establishing a new location)
• Inclusion/payment of authorised expense reimbursements within the payroll process
• Providing support in the Quarter/Year-end process and/or audits as requested by business units and HR/Finance
• Ensure adherence to documented SOX processes and drive efficiencies in those processes
• Prepare spread sheets as it relates to payroll and employee fringe benefits
• Handle administrative, human resource and accounting oriented duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree, or similar degree desired
• 3 to 5 years of multi-countries Payroll experience, preferably working with ADP software
• Advanced knowledge of PC applications (principally Excel and MS Office products)
• Knowledge of ADP (Freedom, Streamline, Work Force Now) and Oracle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to facilitate clear and concise communication with a high level of professionalism
• Well versed with standard payroll/accounting concepts, practices and procedures
• HR knowledge as it relates to payroll and accounting
• Strong ethical values
• Ability to work in a team environment in making business decisions, implementing process and enlist feedback
• Ability to work independently with strong time management and organization skills
• Ability to exercise individual judgment in researching problems and resolving employee issues with a sense of urgency to meet strict deadlines
• Strong internal customer focus required with a positive attitude
