Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Reporting to: SVP, Digital Marketing and Media
Location: Santa Monica, CA
GSN TV is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our Digital Marketing & Media department. The Digital Marketing Manager will support Digital Marketing initiatives through the development and maintence of social community management. This position will collaborate with all divisions of the marketing and promotions teams to create relevant, engaging content and interactive media experiences through all social channels supporting the brand (GSNTV) and original programming television titles.
This individual is responsible for helping to develop strategies to increase and maintain GSN's fanbase on all current and emerging social media platforms, as well as traffic to GSNTV.com and supporting microsites/online games. Also, this person will be ''the voice'' of those public sites, actively engaging followers in a dialogue in an effort to transform visitors into advocates for the brand.
You will be responsible for (but not limited to):
• Providing day-to-day supervision and execution of social campaigns including (and not limited to) content creation, social promotions, partnerships, influencer outreach initiatives, online events, live tweeting for new episode programming, etc.
• Working closely with Directors and rest of social media team/internal marketing, programming and creative departments to ensure campaigns are on strategy, planned in advance, and on target with marketing goals/objectives.
• Creating social content strategy calendar plans, competitive research briefs and digital audits. On a weekly basis, choose daily content and engagement for brand on Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Facebook, etc.
• Ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks while making each piece of content endemic to the platform.
• Serving as key day-to-day community and implementation social manager and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Creating weekly social media program status reports detailing key insights, popular content topics, community quotes and monitoring results; work with research team and oversee preparation of metrics, tracking and activity reports as based on reporting needs. Provide best practices/strategy approach for changing and creating effective content.
• Conducting and manage ongoing key influencer programs.
• Understanding basic research techniques and methodologies and use them to support development/execution of campaigns
• Managing social media budgets and conduct basic social media buys for Twitter and Facebook.
• Managing digital marketing campaigns including development and management of social calendar and platforms.

Education Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing, social media, advertising or entertainment business.
Experience Qualification:
Required Minimum: 2 years social media/marketing experience. Previous experience in television or entertainment social media marketing a plus.
