Responsibilities:
This position will support the Fox Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) specialists in duties such as security risk reporting and administrative support. The intern will process, analyze and evaluate information received from all available sources and respond with the appropriate communication, using all available tools. Provide general situational awareness to the SEHS management as necessary and as directed.
Projects include:
• Social Media Monitoring
• Threats Against Fox Interests (Property, Personnel And Operations)
• Current Event Monitoring
• Open-Source Media and Vendor Alerts (NC4/ISOS)
• Incident Tracking
• Track Identified Threatening Incidents
• Travel Tracking
• Employee Travel Outreach
• Country Risk Assessments and Recommendations
• Security / Medical Guides
• Merging and updating all of the existing location databases (Environment, real estate, risk management, GSOC) to create a complete list of all domestic and international offices, number of employees in each, and primary contacts
Qualifications:
• Strong written and verbal communications skills are required.
• Must show demonstrable analytic and critical thinking skills and possess the ability to prioritize workload based on urgency.
• Must demonstrate a high level of competency with advanced computer systems (e.g., hardware, software and networks) and possess the ability to communicate effectively with IT and Security Systems professionals.
• Flexibility in work schedules and availability for all shifts is essential.
To participate in Fox's Internship program you must meet the following criteria:
• Applicants must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited university and be sophomore status or above.
• Be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship by the Company.
• Housing is not provided, so please have a housing option guaranteed before applying.
